Established in 2015, Graduate School of Project-specific Global and Regional Research Institutes, Hosei University (GRRI) aims to conduct empirical researches and to encourage the application of geographic, historical, sociologic and economic findings. In other to significantly contribute to the economic and social development of Asia, GRRI supports these purposes by organizing an annual academic conferences and workshops as well as publishing a working paper and a journal.

By organising the GRRI, we took the first step of promoting international collaboration of research projects with academic research members and its global networks. The GRRI leads Asian studies with diversity of academic viewpoints among regional specific researches. We will provide comprehensive research findings, dealing with globalization and regionalization issues with regard to geographic, historical, sociologic, and politic, sports and tourism etc.
As an academic research institute specialized in Asia, the GRRI will propose dedicated academic findings through empirical research and analyses. It would be committed to promoting appropriate empirical research and playing a leading part regarding Asian studies through critical and precise analysis of global trends and information.
